Search the show before the number
Use the series title with a season or episode, then inspect the production year. A season of the Danish Killing is not interchangeable with the same numbered season of its American adaptation. The same principle applies to Wallander and The Bridge.
Use a manual checkpoint consistently
Select the season and last episode you finished on the title page. Save it after watching rather than recording an episode you merely intend to start. HDWatch does not observe playback in another service or advance the reminder automatically.
Latest Episodes is not a personal history
The episode list follows dated catalog entries. It does not know what you have watched, and a recent date does not establish current availability in your country. Compare your reminder with the selected service's installment.
Move reminders with your list
Supported checkpoints can be included in a list backup. They remain local to a browser until you transfer them. Separate viewers using one browser should agree whose progress a checkpoint represents.
